From the sea - Curanto en Olla

This typical Chilean dish comes from Chiloe, an island located at the very south of the country.

It is a clear broth full of different types of seafood, potatoes and some vegetables, perfect for the cold winters in the south of Chile.

Mote con huesillos

This is a traditional summer drink in Chile, served very cold and sweet. Very easy to get during the summer months - November to March. It is easy to make at home, so we prepare them very often too. It is made with sun dried peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and fresh cooked husked wheat. Also, if the drink is not sweet enough, we add honey to the mix, which makes it perfect. Here is a picture of the Mote con Huesillos.

This is how we can get them in the street!
